Product Specification

12" 100-TOOTH TCT SAW BLADE FOR ALUMINUM & NON-FERROUS METALS

The Benchmark Abrasives 12" 100-Tooth TCT saw blade is designed for clean, controlled cutting of aluminum and other non-ferrous metals on compatible low-RPM dry-cut saws. Its 100-tooth configuration provides a strong balance of cutting efficiency and smoother edge quality, making it a versatile choice for fabrication and shop work where finish matters.

Durable tungsten carbide-tipped teeth and TCG (Triple Chip Grind) geometry help produce consistent cuts through aluminum extrusion, sheet, bar stock and similar non-ferrous materials. The 0.118" kerf and 1" arbor are designed for compatible 12" saws operating at or below the blade's 2,000 RPM maximum speed.

Product Features

  • 100-tooth configuration provides a balanced combination of cutting efficiency and smoother edge quality.
  • TCG tooth geometry is designed for controlled cutting of aluminum and other non-ferrous metals.
  • Tungsten carbide-tipped teeth provide a durable cutting edge for repeated use.
  • 0.118" kerf provides a stable cutting path through aluminum extrusion, sheet, and stock.
  • 1" arbor fits compatible 12" low-RPM dry-cut saws.
  • 2,000 RPM maximum speed identifies the operating limit for proper machine selection.

Materials & Applications

Best For

  • Aluminum
  • Aluminum extrusion
  • Aluminum sheet
  • Aluminum bar
  • Aluminum profiles
  • Aluminum die castings
  • Brass
  • Copper
  • Bronze
  • Other similar non-ferrous metals

The 100-tooth configuration is well suited for fabrication, installation and finish-conscious shop work where a cleaner edge is important without moving all the way to the highest tooth-count option.

Machine Compatibility

Designed for compatible 12" low-RPM dry-cut saws that accept a 1" arbor and operate within the blade's maximum speed rating.

Always verify your saw's blade diameter, arbor size and operating RPM before installation. The saw must be designed to accept a 12" blade with a 1" arbor and must not exceed the blade's 2,000 RPM maximum rating.

Choosing the Right Tooth Count

Within Benchmark's 12" aluminum blade lineup, the 100-tooth blade is the balanced choice, providing a smoother finished edge than the 80T while maintaining more cutting efficiency than the 120T.

Tips for Better Blade Performance

  • Secure the workpiece firmly before cutting.
  • Use a steady, controlled feed rate and allow the blade to do the cutting.
  • Keep aluminum chips clear of the cutting area.
  • Inspect the blade before use for damaged, missing, or excessively worn teeth.
  • Replace or professionally sharpen the blade when cutting performance noticeably declines.
  • Saw blade lubricant or cutting wax can help reduce aluminum buildup on the teeth during demanding applications.
  • Never exceed the blade's 2,000 RPM maximum operating speed.

Safety

  • Use only on saws designed to accept this blade diameter and arbor configuration.
  • Never install the blade on a machine that exceeds the blade's maximum RPM.
  • Keep all factory guards installed and properly functioning.
  • Inspect the blade before every use. Do not use a cracked, warped, or damaged blade.
  • Secure the workpiece before cutting and maintain control throughout the cut.
  • Wear appropriate eye, hearing, and respiratory protection for the material and application.
  • This blade is designed for aluminum and non-ferrous metal cutting. Use a Benchmark TCT blade specifically designed for steel/ferrous metals when cutting steel.

Riley ★★★★★

I was skeptical about how smooth a 12" blade could cut non-ferrous metals, but the 100 teeth really do leave an almost polished edge on aluminum. It's quieter than my old general-purpose blade, too, which is a nice bonus.

Sofia ★★★★★

This blade cut through some thick aluminum channels on a gate project with almost no burrs to file down. The 100 teeth really deliver that smooth, clean edge.

Lucy ★★★★★

Took this to a job cutting diamond-plate and the teeth held up beautifully, no chipping on the edges. The 100-tooth count really delivers that smooth, almost-polished finish I was hoping for without any secondary sanding.
