6-1/2" 60-TOOTH TCT SAW BLADE FOR ALUMINUM & NON-FERROUS METALS
The Benchmark Abrasives 6-1/2" 60-Tooth TCT saw blade is designed for clean, controlled cutting of aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. Its high 60-tooth count and TCG (Triple Chip Grind) tooth geometry favor a smoother finished edge, making this blade a strong choice when cut quality and reduced finishing work are important.
Built for compatible corded and cordless circular saws, this blade combines durable tungsten carbide-tipped teeth with a 0.075" kerf for efficient cutting through aluminum sheet, extrusion, bar stock and similar non-ferrous materials. The 5/8" arbor with diamond knockout provides compatibility with saws designed for either arbor configuration.

Materials & Applications
Best For
- Aluminum
- Aluminum extrusion
- Aluminum sheet
- Aluminum bar
- Aluminum profiles
- Brass
- Copper
- Bronze
- Other similar non-ferrous metals
The 60-tooth configuration makes this blade particularly useful for fabrication, installation and shop applications where maintaining a cleaner finished edge is more important than maximizing cutting speed.
Machine Compatibility
Designed for compatible 6-1/2" corded and cordless circular saws that accept a 5/8" arbor or compatible diamond knockout configuration.
Always verify your saw's blade diameter, arbor configuration and operating RPM before installation. The saw must be designed to accept the blade and must not exceed the blade's 4,600 RPM maximum rating.
Choosing the Right Tooth Count

With 60 teeth on a 6-1/2" blade, this blade favors controlled cutting and a smoother finished edge, making it well suited for aluminum applications where cut quality is important.
Tips for Better Blade Performance
- Secure the workpiece firmly before cutting.
- Allow the blade to cut at a controlled feed rate rather than forcing the saw through the material.
- Keep aluminum chips clear of the cutting area.
- Inspect the blade before use for damaged, missing, or excessively worn teeth.
- Replace or professionally sharpen the blade when cutting performance noticeably declines.
- A saw blade lubricant or cutting wax can help reduce aluminum buildup on the teeth during demanding applications.
- • Never exceed the blade's 4,600 RPM maximum operating speed.
Safety
- Use only on saws designed to accept this blade diameter and arbor configuration.
- Never install the blade on a machine that exceeds the blade's maximum RPM.
- Keep all factory guards installed and properly functioning.
- Inspect the blade before every use. Do not use a cracked, warped, or damaged blade.
- Secure the workpiece and maintain control of the saw throughout the cut.
- Wear appropriate eye, face, hearing, and respiratory protection for the material being cut.
- This blade is designed for aluminum and non-ferrous metal cutting. Use a Benchmark TCT blade specifically designed for steel/ferrous metals when cutting steel.
