Product Specification

10" 52-TOOTH TCT SAW BLADE FOR STEEL & FERROUS METAL

The Benchmark Abrasives 10" 52-tooth TCT saw blade is built for fast, controlled cutting of steel and other ferrous metals. Its 52-tooth configuration and TCG (Triple chip grind) tooth geometry favor efficient material removal while still delivering the clean, accurate edge quality expected from a carbide-tipped metal-cutting blade.

Tungsten carbide-tipped teeth help produce clean cuts with fewer sparks and less heat than traditional abrasive cutting methods. The 1" arbor with included 5/8" bushing provides fitment flexibility for compatible miter saws and Evolution® saws, while the 0.091" kerf delivers a stable cutting path through tubing, angle iron, plate, rebar and flat stock.

Product Features

  • 52-tooth configuration favors faster cutting while maintaining clean edge quality.
  • TCG tooth geometry helps distribute the cutting load across alternating tooth profiles for durable metal-cutting performance.
  • Tungsten carbide-tipped teeth provide a long-lasting cutting edge for repeated steel cutting.
  • 0.091" kerf provides a stable cutting path through common ferrous-metal shapes.
  • 1" arbor with 5/8" bushing provides fitment flexibility for compatible saws.
  • Reduced sparks and heat compared with traditional abrasive cutting methods help provide a cleaner cutting experience.
  • 5,200 RPM maximum speed clearly identifies the operating limit for proper machine selection.

Materials & Applications

Best For

  • Mild steel
  • Steel
  • Wrought iron
  • Square tubing
  • Round pipe and tubing
  • Angle iron
  • Rebar
  • Flat stock
  • Steel plate up to 1/8"

The 52-tooth configuration is well suited for fabrication, installation, maintenance and general metalworking applications where cutting speed and productivity are important while still maintaining a clean finished edge.

Machine Compatibility

Designed for compatible 10" miter saws and Evolution® saws that accept the blade diameter, arbor configuration and operating speed.

Always verify your saw's blade diameter, arbor size and operating RPM before installation. The saw must not exceed the blade's 5,200 RPM maximum rating.

Choosing the Right Tooth Count

With 52 teeth on a 10" blade, this blade favors faster cutting and productivity. Choose a higher-tooth-count 10" blade when a smoother finished edge is the higher priority.

Tips for Better Blade Performance

  • Secure the workpiece firmly before cutting.
  • Use a steady, controlled feed rate and allow the carbide teeth to perform the cut.
  • Avoid forcing the blade through the material.
  • Keep chips and debris clear of the cutting path.
  • Inspect the blade before use for damaged, missing or excessively worn teeth.
  • Replace or professionally sharpen the blade when cutting performance noticeably declines.
  • Saw blade lubricant can help reduce buildup and extend blade life during demanding applications.
  • Never exceed the blade's 5,200 RPM maximum operating speed.

Safety

  • Use only on saws designed to accept this blade diameter and arbor configuration.
  • Never install the blade on a machine that exceeds the blade's maximum RPM.
  • Keep all factory guards installed and properly functioning.
  • Inspect the blade before every use. Do not use a cracked, warped or damaged blade.
  • Secure the workpiece before cutting and maintain control throughout the cut.
  • Do not use this blade on stainless steel or hardened materials.
  • Wear appropriate eye, hearing, respiratory, and hand protection for the application.

Owen S. ★★★★★

I’d been nervous about cutting steel on my miter saw, but this 52-tooth TCT blade made it through some 1/4-inch angle iron like butter—no grabbing or burning. The carbide tips are still looking sharp after a dozen cuts, which is way better than the abrasive wheels I used to burn through.

Ellie ★★★★★

Cut through a stack of 1/4-inch steel angle iron with almost no burrs—this blade really does deliver fast, controlled cuts in ferrous metal. The 52-tooth count keeps the edge clean and the cut smooth without bogging down my miter saw.

Ella S. ★★★★★

Finally got this 52-tooth blade for cutting some steel angle iron, and it cuts way smoother than my old abrasive wheel. The carbide tips are holding up nicely after a dozen cuts, no chipping at all.
