1" x 6" Spade Bit

Cut a dozen 2x4s for a garden frame and the 6-inch length gave me plenty of reach without swapping bits. The 1-inch head stayed true the whole time, no wobble even in knotty oak.

The six-inch shaft reached through a 2x4 and into the stud behind it without me having to angle the drill, which saved a ton of wrist strain. Cuts clean and the 1-inch head is exactly the right size for running cabling.

The six-inch length gave me plenty of reach for a deep joist, and the bit stayed centered without wandering. It cut cleanly through pine with no burning, even on the exit side.
