17/64” HSS Black & Gold Jobber Length Drill Bits - 12 Pack is a drill bit that has a long length compared to its diameter. These bits provide more flexibility and absorb more shock and vibration than cobalt, powdered-metal, and carbide jobber-length. These jobber bits have a good balance of strength and precision when drilling into a range of materials. They come in a wide range of sizes, finishes, and materials. A 135 degree split point designed to prevent wobbling, walking or skating and eliminate the need for a pilot punch. These bits are manufactured from M2 high speed steel and heat treated to ensure an extended life and optimal performance cutting holes. The black and gold finish makes these bits stronger and last longer than our black oxide drill bits; providing even better abrasion and corrosion resistance and reduced wear.
