Benchmark Abrasives 8-1/2" 60 Tooth TCT Saw Blade for Finishing - Sliding Miter & Radial Saws is excellent for cross cutting and fine finishing of softwoods and hardwoods in a range of thicknesses, with occasional cutting of plywood, wood framing, decking, etc.

Safety Tips/techniques:

• Do not cut Metal with these blades, they are engineered for wood applications ONLY.
• NEVER run the blade on a saw that is rated higher than the MAX RPM stated on the blade
• Running your blade on a higher RPM saw is not only dangerous, but it will also reduce the lie of the blade significantly.  
• Blades with fewer teeth tend to provide a faster cut with a less finished edge.  For finer finishes choose blades with more overall teeth count.
• Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection.  Keep all guards in place on your machine.
