Product Specification

5" Gold A/O EIGHT (8) Hole Hook & Loop Discs - 50 Pack

Benchmark Abrasives 5" Gold A/O Eight (8) Hole Hook & Loop Discs have a backing made of a material similar to Velcro. It has the loopside of the hook and loop attach to the hook side of a backing pad. The backing pad attaches to the machine like a random orbital sander or disc sander. This makes it very simple to change the sandpaper. These discs are made with premium Gold Aluminum Oxide grains. The hook and loop sandpaper are ideal for sanding wood, metal, and plastics. This sandpaper disc features a clog-reducing net design coated in premium aluminum oxide grit for fast material removal while reducing material build-up.

In order to achieve an optimal sanding result, the semi-open grit binding and special stearate coating are designed to prevent clogging and pill forming. They work well on drywall, autobody work, fiberglass, metal, paint, plastics, wood and more.

These discs are designed to get the job done fast, saving you time and money on every job!

Customer Reviews (4.4 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Sophia V. ★★★★★

The 8-hole design keeps dust down way better than my old solid discs, and the hook-and-loop backing grips tight even on my ROS. Fifty in the pack for this price is solid value, and they've held up through several metal projects without shredding.

Jason ★★★★★

These discs cut through my wood filler and paint without clogging up after just a few passes. The eight-hole dust collection pattern is a lifesaver, keeping my workbench clean. Solid value for a 50-pack of hook and loop 5-inch sanding discs.

Julian ★★★★☆

The eight-hole design keeps dust collection working properly with my sander, and the gold coating holds up better than the plain brown discs I used before. Only gripe is the hook-and-loop backing feels slightly stiff out of the pack, but they stick fine once broken in.
