Product Specification

4-1/2" X 5/8"-11 T29 ZIRCONIA HIGH DENSITY FLAP DISC - 1 PIECE

4-1/2" x 5/8"-11 T29 (Angled Face) Zirconia High Density Flap Discs are manufactured using European zirconia cloth. The European material is superior due to its uniform particle size and premium blend of ingredients. These discs exceed our other flap discs by packing 40% more abrasives on each snippet than our regular density discs. In addition, all discs are manufactured on computer-controlled machines and subject to numerous tests which ensure high quality and greater safety. The 5/8”-11 hub allows for easy spin-on spin-off action.

These type 29 flap discs are a versatile product that can be used from aggressive stock removal to surface blending. The layered construction of abrasive flaps on this flap disc will continually expose new grains for longer life and finer finish compared to resin fiber discs. It can be used for heavy material removal on all types of metals.

T29 (angled face) discs are angled up at 15 degrees to provide optimal, ergonomic flap use when grinding down items that are flat surfaces (like bead weld).  For the best solution on non-flat surfaced check out our T27 (flat face) flap discs.

Zirconia grains have a self-sharpening property and stand up to higher heat and pressure than Aluminum Oxide (A/O), thus making Zirconia the go-to option, providing excellent stock removal that gives you more bang for your buck.

Isabella ★★★★★

I’ve been using this T29 zirconia disc on my angle grinder for some heavy metal grinding, and it’s holding up way better than the standard discs I’ve tried—the high-density flaps really do cut faster without wearing down quickly.

Henry U. ★★★★★

This high-density flap disc chewed through my weld seams way faster than the cheap ones I'd been using. The zirconia grit held up nicely through a dozen heavy passes on steel.

Penelope ★★★★★

I was surprised how well this angled face disc held up on a heavy grinding job—lasted way longer than the standard ones I've used. The zirconia material really chews through metal without loading up.
